Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! is a platform game developed byRare and published by Nintendo and was the third and final installment in the Donkey Kong Country trilogy until Nintendo announced Retro Studios would be developing the next installment, Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Nintendo Wii. It was released in late 1996 for the Super NES. The game was ported to Game Boy Advance in 2005 (with a different soundtrack; see "GBA re-release"). The title was released on the Wii's Virtual Consoleservice in North America on December 24, 2007, and the following day in Europe as a special Christmas update.

Students urged: Shun 'jejemon'

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Education (DepEd) has urged students to shun the “jejemon” phenomenon which is being blamed for the prevalence of spelling errors.

Education Secretary Mona Valisno yesterday said she has not issued any order against “jejemon,” or the use of alternate spellings of common words, but she appealed to parents and teachers to discourage students from adopting this pop culture phenomenon.

According to the Urban Dictionary, “jejemons” are a new breed of hipsters who have developed their own languageand written text and who have managed to subvert the English language to the point of incomprehensibility. The phenomenon is most evident in text messaging and social networking sites.

“I’m not issuing any order but I’m appealing to all the teachers and parents to discourage this shortcutting in texting and language. We should be consistent because this is part of the training to read, write and speak properly,” Valisno told The STAR.

Valisno said shortcutting words will eventually make students forget correct spelling.

Valisno emphasized that teachers and parents can teach students the proper composition of text messages by using the correct spelling of words.

“I think if it’s (shortcutting of messages) at the expense of written essays, it’s not fun. That will deteriorate the quality. We should help curb this,” she said.

Valisno said “jejemon” is also a reflection of one’s gestures, politeness, attitude and behavior.

In a related development, the DepEd is set to introduce a media literacy education curriculum that seeks to protect children from the negative effects of all forms of media.

“We believe that our young learners need to be protected from adverse media which they encounter every day in the process of acquiring information and entertainment,” Valisno said.

The DepEd has created the Media Literacy Task Force which was given the green light to develop a National Media Literacy Education Curriculum that would help children understand and handle media.

“Our children need help in developing their skill to distinguish good news from bad news and good programs from bad ones,”

Bibigyan ko kayo nang isa pang halimbawa tungkol eto sa magaling na mag aaral na katagalan na hihina sa pag aaral dahil sa internet!

Pangalanan natin siyang JUAN :)
si Juan ay isang masipag na mag-aaral laging may takdang aralin sa klase at lagi siyang top sa klase ang mga magulang naman niya ay mahirap lamang pero umahon sa buhay dahil sa pagsisikap at naka bili na din sila nang mga pangangailangan nila ...
Si Juan ay humingi nang isang bagay na gusto gusto niya at pina pangarap niya!
pero sabi nang magulang niya dapat muna maipasa ni juan ang kanyang darating na exam! at ginawa ni juan ay buong mag damag siyang nag aral .
Pagkatapos nang exam ay nakakuha siya nang matataas na iskor sa lahat nang subject! kaya nabilhan na siya nang computer tuwang tuwa si juan dahil sa kanyang pagsisikap ay siya ay nag tagumpay!

Ilang araw ang nakalipas gulat na gulat ang mga magulang ni juan dahil humina na sa klase si juan at wala na rin siyang ganang pumasok sa eskwelahan, hindi na lumalabas sa bahay at hindi na rin nakaka kain nang mabuti si juan .
Pinagawa sila nang proyecto at binigyan sila nang 2 linggo na gawain ito
ang ginawa ni juan ay inuna pa niya ang mag pa level kay sa gawain ang proyecto na pinapagawa nang kanyang guro at dahil wala siyang na ipasa na proyecto bumaba ang kanyang grado hindi lang isang subject kundi sa lahat!

HINDI SA LAHAT NANG ORAS MAY MAGANDA NA NADUDULOT ANG INTERNET SA ATIN DAPAT GINAGAWA MUNA NATIN ANG IMPORTANTE .WAG NATIN AAKSAYAHIN ANG ATING SIMULA AT HINDI DAPAT TAYO MAGING PABAYA ....

BAKASYON :)

Ito na ang hinihintay nang mga tamad pumasok sa eskwelahan at mga nang ca - Cutting sa klase haha :D at ito rin ang hinihintay nang mga gra graduate sa eskwelahan :) at ito rin ang hinihintay kung araw hay salamat bakasyon na rin whaa! :) pero ito naman ang pinaka ayaw nang mga mahilig humingi nang baon sa mga magulang nila :( at masakit din dahil nakaka miss ang mga masasayang araw sa eskwelahan at lalo na ang mga tunay na kaibigan.

Mga gagawin sa ko sa bakasyon :
Unang-una tulog, kain, tulog, kain Haha :)
kung ganito lang ang gagawin ko hindi masaya ang bakasyon :(

1st year high school :)

Unang araw nang klase kabado masaya at nagulat dahil napunta ako sa 6 section
'carnation' ang pangalan nang section nakita ko dun ang mga old friends ko pero nalipat sila dahil sa naganap na exam nag karoon ako nang mga bagong kaibigan ang mga ugali ay mabait ,masunurin , kapag may guro haha! :) At sa taon na ito nagkaroon ako nang magagaling na mga guro sina Mrs. Ginyl Joy Dela pena ,Ofelia Trinidad , Elizabeth Lontayao , Rafael Careo. Kahit wala akong nakuhang awards ay mag papatuloy parin ako sa pag aaral nang malupet!!at proud din ako na maging carnation at ERISian!
Sana sa 2nd year higschool maka award na ako whaa!

"KAIBIGAN"

Ano nga ba ang tunay na kahulugan ng salitang kaibigan? Para sa akin maraming ibig sabihin ng kaibigan, kaibigan sa kasiyahan lang or sa gimmick lang, kaibigan kapag may kailangan lang sayo, kaibigan lang sa tsismisan, kaibigan lang na may makakasama at makaka-usap, kaibigan lang siya kapag may nakukuha sayo. Yan lang ang mga halimbawa ng salitang kaibigan. Sa tingin ninyo ba masasabi mo na agad na kaibigan kapag bago palang kayo magka-kilala?.

Para sa akin ang tunay na kaibigan ay ang taong nasa likuran mo sa oras ng kagipitan, taong mahihingahan mo sa oras na may problema ka at feeling depress ka, at siya ang taong magpapalakas ng iyong loob at susuporta sa iyo kahit sa anong bagay. Yun ang matatawag kong tunay na kaibigan, yung tanggap ka kahit ano ka at kahit ano meron ka, yung kahit anong mangyari nandiyan siya sa likod mo, siya rin yung taong hindi mag-aatubiling magsasabi sayo kung tama ba o mali na ang ginagawa mo , taong tutulong sayo na hindi mag-hihintay na ano mang kapalit, taong maiiyakan mo, taong masasabihan mo ng kahit anong sekreto mo, taong I maitetreasured mo habang ika'y nabubuhay, at kahit anong pag-subok ang dumating sayo nandiyan siya hindi ka niya iiwan. Kapag ganyan ang taong kaibigan mo masasabi mo na siya ang tunay mong kaibigan.

Para sa akin sa panahon ngayun napakahirap na makahanap ng totoong tao na maitretreasured mo habang ika'y nabubuhay, totoong kaibigan mo na nandiyan sa tabi mo sa hirap o ginhawa, sa lungkot at saya, at naaalala ko pa ang kantang " kung tayo'y matanda na sana'y di tayo mag-bago" nakakatuwa kasi para naman kaming 2 taong nag-iibigan dahil yan ang lagi niya kinakanta at sabi niya sa akin pagmarinig ko raw yang kanta na yan ay para ko na rin siya kasama.

Munti ko lang hiling na kahit nasa malayo na siya sana'y lagi siyang patnubayan ng poong may kapal, lagi siyang maging matatag. Kaya ang aming pag-kakaibigan ay hindi mawawala habang ako'y nabubuhay.

Computer vs. Book

Nowadays, almost everyone could afford to have computer as a cutting edge system in replacement for recording data but books are still used so widely. I wonder, Why?
But I guess and I think there are Pro and Contra about it. I Think Computers are becoming the common things to us in this generation. How about that? More and more talks about computers are in right now. Even mobile phone is a computer. However, Personal Computer is not that cheap compared to book.

Computers offer a wide range of uses. We could track all the data in one computer, transferring data are much easier and faster and we could gather as many data as we want as long as our storage data is not full.

We could bring it also anywhere we want to as long as there is a power source or the battery is still available.

On the other hand, books are cheaper if compared to computer. They do not depend on any power source and it will never corrupt compared to computer unless the readers themselves want to do so. We could bring it anywhere provided how thick is the book and how willing is the reader. Books could be preserved from generation of generation.

Furthermore, reading is basically introduced to early childhood through books and not by computers ,However, book lovers have become less and less nowadays because of computer technology. The book market is evidently getting weak.

Book sales are displayed the whole year round to revive the interest of the public to get hold of it. I commend an English teacher in first year at ERIS ., Miss Ofelia Trinidad because she created a Reading- Friendly Center at the second floor of Neptali A. Gonzales Building .

Although computers are very “in” right now and almost everyone is addicted to it ; for me , books are still the best way to keep and store our data. However , personal computer is one of my tools to track and gather all my data that I needed while I am still alive.

Finally, let the bible verse below enrich our desire to become righteous .

Expectation

My EXPECTATION of 1ST YEAR HIGH SCHOOL :)

->Im so very exited to go to school , happy to see my friends, bullies and teachers. My Expectation on my teachers are great, always happy, and good teaching. My Expectation on my friends are very nice person and always their for help.

I m so DISAPPOINTED because my all expectation was not happen :( But still Im continuity for my goals and not to be so expect. Im just read my brother blog it says NO EXPECTATION NO DISAPPOINTMENT! it was very nice blog.
